Features of Homestay

Half board (all meals except lunch on school days) or full board (all meals, every day) with local families is arranged for students studying at the school. Homes are carefully selected and inspected to ensure the best for your comfort and opportunity to practise your English.

Each student has their own room. Host families provide food, linen (towels and sheets), washing and ironing facilities and all the usual comforts of a western-style home.

You should allow about NZ$25 per week for bus transport to get to and from school. Some students choose to bike to school. Each student is provided with a map of Christchurch and a local information brochure.

Half Board (16 meals p/week) NZ$210 per week (NZ$217 from 1 January 2012)
Full Board (21 meals p/week) NZ$245 per week (NZ$252 from 1 January 2012)
