About our school
Founded in 1982, Seafield School is one of New Zealand's leading English language schools. Located by the sea in the beautiful city of Christchurch, Seafield offers professional English language tuition in an attractive, international and friendly school environment.
Seafield's modern school building features 15 classrooms, computer room with free internet, wireless internet, library, common rooms, courtyards, gardens and free bike and car parking for students. The beach, shops, banks, cafes, Christchurch Pier, seaside public library, bus services and other amenities are all within a few minutes' walk from the school.
Our courses include General English, part-time and full-time, and preparation for the IELTS, TOEIC and Cambridge exams.
Special features of our school include small classes (averaging 9 students in size), free one-to-one after class tutorials with students' own teachers, and free airport transfers on arrival.
We are a friendly school with a Christian foundation. Our staff are professional and helpful. Our teachers are well-qualified and experienced, so students receive the help they need to make quick progress with learning English. We also have student advisors, who speak a variety of languages, to orientate and assist our students.
Seafield School of English is registered, approved and audited by the New Zealand Government. We are also members of ENGLISH NEW ZEALAND, an organisation which promotes high standards of teaching and service in member schools.
